Great selection with unique options. Great food tip pick up in the run, too.
Parking is often a challenge, but that's a sign of its quality! -

Popped into today needing a few grocery items for a bit of a Valentine's Day dinner for my fella. It's a small-ish market, maybe not the place you would do your weekly big shopping, but if you need a good cut of meat, a bit of produce, or other small items it's perfect. I found everything I needed save for a couple of speciality cheeses that I knew would be a long shot to find anywhere but a dedicated cheese monger. Chocolate, produce, good bread (they carry my regional fave Crust!), a bit of dairy, and such all made its way out with me.
Their focus is on local and I love it. Calder dairy, Crust bread, Sander's chocolate, etc etc. You can find it all here. Like other Westborns, they also have a nice floral area with both bouquets and potted plants. Desserts look delicious and there's a really solid grab and go area filled with pre-made soups, a hot bar, and other things that make dinner or lunch a snap if you don't feel like cooking. There's also a wine bar for sipping and a great patio for warmer months. -

We live close to the other Westborn, (royal oak), so I wanted to check this one out when we were in Plymouth. This one is just so cute.. eccentric really... housed in an old post office with an outdoor patio and next to a funky coffee house.
This Westborn is really more of a prepared foods/take out place with a smaller grocer.. royal oak is much more market with small prepared foods in the back. Really cute place to see if you're in town. I was alone and looking to take home lunch but found a few foods not readily available at all markets: Panda tofu (in produce section in three flavors), uncle Peters pasties, (chicken and beef) and chicken or vegetable pot pies, a kombucha on tap with refillable growlers!!!
Fun spot and really adds to the charm/atmosphere of downtown Plymouth! -

Westborn Market in Plymouth is my closest grocery. I can easily walk here to pick up whatever I need for dinner or to fill in for an event.
For those of us with smaller households, this place has everything needed to keep fed, healthily or otherwise. Though you won't find all the brand names, bulk, and low-cost items of a larger market, this place should keep your home well-stocked. The produce selection is solid, clean, and fresh. They carry a good selection of high-quality meat and seafood. The general grocery area contains everything you need for a quick meal or many more involved ones.
Westborn Market shines in its prepared foods. Whether pre-packed or ordered at the counter, they maintain good stock and roll through a variety of recipes. They also have meals, one protein with two sides, that you order at the counter hot. Overall this food is good quality and good tasting. Sometimes I want a bit more of a kick, of course, but hey, I've got hot sauce. Most importantly to me it, it is convenient and can be healthy - as healthy as I'm feeling that day at least.
If you are into wine and beer, head downstairs to check out their selection. It is good. They've recently added some well-priced house wines. I was pleasantly surprised that their Michigan red was not as sweet as many, and I expect it to become one of my go-to bottles. I picked up the white to check out, too.
I love this place. It's not going to carry everything I'll ever need, but that's not what it's for. If I had one suggestion, it would have to do with staffing. Inside the store, I've found staff helpful and friendly. At the counter, many times, all of the cashiers are under 18. When I have been there, almost everyone is buying wine, so the process - though handled well - of finding an appropriate aged manager to ring up that part of the order seems odd.
Keep buying local! -

Love that this place is so close to home and it is only a short five minute walk! All of their produce is very fresh. They always have specials going on which is nice! They always have prepared foods that are always good. I highly recommend their pizza! Also the hummus by the soup area is some of the best hummus I have ever had before! Only downside is it is a small store and sometimes you can't find everything you need.
